Daughter of Eve from the far land of Spare Oom where eternal summer reigns around the bright city of War Drobe, how would it be if you came and had tea with me? )

I have changed my mind about being excited about moving, and I would also like to start a movement banning packing peanuts from existing.

So the most fantastic thing happened! Not just fantastic, actually. Brilliant, even! It's really something along the lines of STUPENDOUS if I'm going to get really worked up about the whole thing.

I've gotten a job in America. Me! I mean, I had to apply for it. I've actually been applying to a few different museums, but I honestly didn't think anything would come of it. But apparently, a certain museum in Chicago liked me enough to do a phone interview and... I got the job! And yes, I am referencing the Davison Museum of History. The Davison Museum. I'm still a bit boggled by the whole thing, but there we are! America, here I come!

So I got a cat. His name is Duke Binx and he is possibly the most adorable cat I've ever met. (At least the non-talking kind. But they never appreciated being labeled adorable anyways.) I realized he would need to be house trained, and I've talked about it with him about it- aside from one accident on my shoe he's been rather good. I just hadn't expected it all to cost so much! The cat food and the scratching post and the litter box and the shots and what not. It looks as though I'll be clipping coupons and switching to the cheap food brands for a while to make up for the start up.

Hullo! It has been quite some time since I used this, and I don't think I ever actually introduced myself. Rather rude of me, I know, but I suppose it really is better late then never at all. I've ignored this community for far too long, I think.

Right, well, my name is Samuel Willoughby, and I live and work in London as a museum curator. And the man living inside of my head would be one Mr. Tumnus, from the Chronicles of Narnia series. I have to ask... Are there any other Narnias around? Or bar that, anyone with roots in children's stories or of the magical persuasion? If so, I'd love to get to know you better. If not, I'd still love to get to know you.

Also, if you'd ever like to visit me at the Baker House Museum, you are more then welcome to, and I'd be happy to give you a tour around the place.
